Learn Hillingdon, an adult community education centre, delivered fun pumpkin-themed learning sessions, combining maths with cooking and sustainability. The sessions were funded by Multiply, the national scheme for increasing adult numeracy. Activities included parents and children measuring and weighing the pumpkins before roasting the seeds. Many participants said that the sessions had exceeded their expectations, helping build confidence with numeracy and making maths fun for the whole family.
